Nos vamos ya dirección Primavera Sound. Pero antes repasamos algunas de las novedades de esta última semana. Una semana en el que- casualmente- predominan las voces femeninas. En primer lugar, la de la voz del dúo de Zurich Odd Beholder, con su álbum de debut via Mouthwatering Records. Pero también a Kristin Kontrol – el debut como tal de Dee Dee de Dum Dum Girls en Sub Pop- Leyla McCalla – segundo álbum de la cantante de folk- o la británica Clare McGuire, también con su segundo trabajo, después de cinco años. También hay veteranos que siguen manteniendo con coherencia la esencia de su sonido como el americano Tony Joe White con su ya 19º álbum, y otros que intentan mantener la chispa de antaño con segundas partes, como ABC con The look of love 2. Para habilidad, la de los Monkees, que han sabido captar la atención de los medios y público con un buen regreso, Good times!, plagado, eso sí, de compositores de excepción.Y lo nuevo de Cass McCombs– uno de sus mejores singles hasta la fecha- The Strokes, Dinosaur Jr., The Amazing, Koria Kitten Riot, Cymbals eat Guitars,Matt Bennett o Wild Beast, entre otros. También hay material nacional, como Tórtel, Russian Red & Glowbug, Paravent, Neuman o el debut de Marta Delmont.
