Los discos de la semana (08/08/16 – 14/08/16)
Muchas novedades aun estando en pleno agosto. Realmente una sorpresa el nuevo disco de Dinosaur Jr. Con Give a glimpse of what yer not (Jagjaguwar, 2016), uno de esos grupos veteranos que no dan señales de agotamiento, y eso, tal como hemos sabido esta semana, que la relación entre J Mascis y Lou Barlow es prácticamente inexistente. También tenemos el descubrimiento de Zeal and Ardor (el neoyorquino Manuel Gagneux) que mezcla gospel con black metal en su álbum Devil is fine o el segundo trabajo de la formación de post punk de San Francisco Creative Adult, el debut experimental de Health&Beauty, banda que acompaña a Ryley Walker en su más reciente trabajo o el primer trabajo también del cuarteto neoyorkino Izzy True. Además, los nuevos singles de Mark Lanegan & Dave Gahan – versión con fines benéficos de Cat People de Bowie, canción que repite en el dueto de Marilyn Manson y Shooter Jennins- El Michels Affair feat The Shacks, Action Bronson/Mark Ronson/Dan Auerbach (para la BSO de Suicide Squad), Morgan Delt, Hamilton Leithauser/Rostam, Cass McCombs, Tennis, Happyness o Cosima, entre otros. Y además destacamos dos debuts nacionales: Murdoc y Escuelas Pías.
