El batería de Fleet Foxes deja definitivamente la banda y publica nuevo álbum en solitario, Fear Fun (Sub Pop, 2012).
Tras cuatro años en la formación, J.Tillman continúa con su carrera en solitario: su nuevo trabajo ha sido grabado junto a otro conocido, Jonathan Wilson y producido por Phil Ek, habitual también de los discos de Fleet Foxes, The Shins o Band of Horses.Fear Fun se publicará el 1 de mayo.
